Ambassador Yang Houlan Attended the Ceremony Held by Nepal's Friendly Associations

On 21 July, Ambassador Yang Houlan attended the ceremony held by Nepal-China Media Forum (NCMF) and Pokhara Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PCCI) for celebrating the 56th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Ties between China and Nepal & 60th Anniversary of the Peaceful Liberation of Tibet & 90th Anniversary of the Founding of the CPC.

Mr. Kishor, president of NCMF said that the friendship between Nepal and China has a long history. The exchanges and cooperation between two sides in various fields have been constantly deepened since the establishment of diplomatic ties of the two countries. The two countries are good friends, good neighbors, good partners and good brothers. Mr. Shrestha, chairman of PCCI said that Nepal and China are the models in international relations regarding respect, support, understand and cooperate with each other. The representatives of the political parties said that CPC has led the Chinese people to gain many brilliant achievements over 90 years. China has become world's second largest economy, and it is still developing rapidly. Nepal is pleased about this. They spoke highly of Tibet's development over 60 years and said that Nepal will unswervingly support one-China policy.

Ambassador Yang introduced the development of friendly cooperative relations of the two countries since the establishment of the diplomatic ties and Tibet's brilliant achievements over 60 years. He spoke highly of Nepal's one-China policy. He believed that the China-Nepal Comprehensive Partnership of Cooperation will have brighter development.

After the ceremony, Mr. Kishor declared the establishment of Nepal-China Media Forum (West Branch).

In the evening, Ambassador Yang Houlan and Mr. Nembang, Chairman of CA attended the reception held by NCMF. The two sides exchanged views in further developing the bilateral relations.
