On September 9, 2009, H.E. Mr. Qiu Guohong, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, attended the inaugural ceremony of "Women in Tibet, China" Photo Exhibition jointly organized by Women's Association of Tibet Autonomous Region of China and the Chinese Embassy in Nepal. Rt. Hon. Mrs. Purna Kumari Subedi, Vice Chairperson of the Constituent Assembly of Nepal, Mrs. Can Muqun, President of Women's Association of Tibet Autonomous Region, Mr. Lila Mani Paudel, Secretary of the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, and other friends from different walks of life in Nepal were present in the ceremony.

More than 100 photos, which give a vivid description of Tibetan women's participation in the management of state and social affairs and economic constructions, will be exhibited in the Shangri-la Hotel of Kathmandu from September 9 to 15.
