On August 18, 2009, Mr. Qiu Guohong, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Nepal attended the Book Donation Ceremony organized by the Chinese Embassy in L.R.I School in Kathmandu. More than 6,000 books about Chinese language and culture, provided by Hanban, or Chinese Language Council International were donated to several primary and secondary schools in this ceremony to help Nepali students learn more about China and become interested in promoting the friendship between Nepal and China.
