Reminder to Passengers Taking Flights from Nepal to China
2021/02/11

Recently a number of confirmed or asymptomatic Covid-19 infection cases have been reported on flights from Nepal to China, posing grave threat to China’s efforts to prevent and control the epidemic. Civil Aviation Administration of China has issued flight circuit breaker instructions, suspending the flight H9787 of Himalaya Airlines for four weeks from February 1, and canceling all flights from Kathmandu to Chongqing on February 3, 10, 17 and 24. It has also been informed that there are more than 5 cases of nucleic acid test positive passengers with Air China flight CA438 on January 31 and China Southern flight CZ6068 on February 2, which may trigger the circuit breaker mechanism in the near future. The Chinese Embassy in Nepal would like to remind passengers planning to take flights from Nepal to China, to take note of the increasing pressure on China's epidemic prevention measures, keep a close eye on the latest flight information and adjust your itinerary timely, avoiding flying to China from Nepal so as not to get stranded in Nepal for indefinite period of time.
