Chinese President and PM sent greetingto the King of Nepal

President of the People's Republic of China Hu Jintao has extended warm congratulations and best wishes to His Majesty the King on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty's birthday.

According to National News Agency of Nepal, in the message, the Chinese President said Nepal is an amicable and friendly neighbor of China , and observed that for the past 49 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the two countries have always been trusting each other, supporting each other and treating each other equally.

Remarking that China attaches importance to developing friendly and cooperative relations with Nepal , he expressed firm belief that with the concerted efforts of both sides, China-Nepal generation-to-generation good-neighborly and friendly partnership will be further cemented and developed.

He also wished His Majesty health and happiness and the Kingdom of Nepal prosperity and progress.

Similarly, Premier of the state council of the People's Republic of China Wen Jiabao has extended has extended warm congratulations and best wishes to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.
