Ambassador Yu Hong Attends the Graduation Ceremony of the 2nd Chinese Language Training Course for Nepali Tourism Professionals

    On January 23, 2018, the Graduation Ceremony of the 2nd Chinese Language Training Course for Nepali Tourism Professionals, organized by the Embassy of China in Nepal was held at Nepal Tourism Board. Ambassador Yu Hong attended it and delivered a speech. Mr. Maheshwor Neupane, Secretary of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation of Nepal, Mr. Deepak Joshi, CEO of NTB, Dr. Harish Shah, President of NCCEC, former Nepali Ambassadors, representatives from friendship societies, Chinese and Nepali media were present.

    In her remarks, Ambassador Yu Hong highlighted new cooperation between the two countries in political, economic and people-to-people and cultural exchanges in 2017. Ambassador Yu reaffirmed that China would further deepen its relations with the neighbors including Nepal in accordance with the principle of amity, sincerity, mutual benefit, and inclusiveness and the policy of forging friendship and partnership with its neighbors. Ambassador Yu encouraged the trainees to continue their study of Chinese, understand Chinese culture and serve as a bridge in promoting mutual understanding and friendship of two countries.

    Secretary Neupane and CEO Joshi also made speeches. The graduates performed some famous Chinese songs and dances during the ceremony.
