Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Wu Chuntai Visits the Nepalese Army Command and Staff College

On June 6, 2013,Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Wu Chuntai visited the Nepalese Army Command and Staff College at the invitation of Major General Ramesh Bista, Commandant of that College. Ambassador Wu delivered a speech at the College focusing on "China's Foreign Policy and China-Nepal Relations". Meanwhile, he had interactions with over 50 officer students studying in the College from 9 countries including Nepal, China, USA, India, Pakistan, UK, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Malaysia as well as gave detailed replies and explanations to inquiries raised by the attendants like "How China can play a better role as a responsible power", "How to further promote China-Nepal relations" and "How to make Nepal benefit from two rapid-growing economies of China and India".


The Nepalese Army Command and Staff College, the top military training and educational institute, was established in September 1993. It is aimed at providing training and education to future mid- and high-level commanding officers for security forces including the Nepalese Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Forces.
