The Government of the People's Republic of China has agreed to provide a grant assistance equivalent to RMB 50 million (NRS 428.5 million) to the Government of Nepal. Agreement to this effect was signed and exchanged today in Kathmandu, by H.E. Mr. Vidyadhar Mallik, Finance Secretary and H.E. Mr. Zheng Xianglin, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal.

With another RMB 50 million grant assistance to Nepal in July, in the whole year of 2007, the Chinese Assistance to Nepal has reached RMB 100 million.
